    Josh Freeman

I think the Bears should draft Josh Freeman in next year's draft. he has size, arm strength, and mobility. One thing he needs to work on is decision making, which can be fixed over time. He could be the underrated QB Kevin O' Connell was in the 2008 draft.

The depth chart would be if the Bears drafted him to me:
    Orton
Hanie (The Bears want to see what he can do with a promotion to work with the 2nd string offense.)
Freeman (He'll need a year or 2 to develop, and the Bears want to give Hanie another year)
    Josh Freeman, Kansas State
    Height: 6-6. Weight: 249.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.83.
    Projected Round (2010): 3.

7/24/08: Josh Freeman started eight games as a true freshman and threw 15 interceptions to just six touchdowns. He made great strides in 2007, however, as he compiled 3,353 yards, 18 touchdowns and 11 picks. More importantly, check out his numbers after Oct. 6: 2,044 yards, 14 touchdowns and just four picks in seven contests.

i hope kyles our guy and plays well for the next few seasons but you can never have too many good qb's and i think freeman will make a great pro one-day.

    Re: Josh Freeman

I'll never forgive him for ditching my Huskers via text message before he enrolled at KSU, but he's still a heck of a prospect. I don't think a 3rd will get him. I think he progresses enough this year and next (unless he declares this year, which is possible with weak senior QBs) to get to at least Jason Campbell status (mid-late first rounder)

He's got a 12 to 2 TD/INT ratio so far this year, and has only taken 1 sack. Over 62% completions, and decent yardage (8.9 per attempt). I think if he plays this well all season (he's a top 10 passer in the NCAA right now) he could go first round THIS YEAR. Plus at 6'6, 250, and decent athleticism, he's got it all physically.
