Best "Affordable" Hotel in The Loop

Hello, I will be coming to Chicago for the week 2 game against the Steelers in September. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions regarding the best affordable hotels in the loop. I am on a tight budget but do not want to totally sacrifice quality. Thank you in advance for any help you are able to provide.

I fly in from Buffalo for at least 2-3 games a year.  Your best bet is to Priceline a hotel.  You can name your own price.  My successful bids have been between $100-$150 for 4 star hotels in the Grant Park / Loop area.  This year I am going to the Expo and staying at the Fairmont for $125 per night.  Good luck.

i only paid 70 at the palmer house using priceline a couple of times last year...the other best option is to stay at one of the hotels at Midway (marriot, hilton, etc...). You can get em for 50 a night using priceline with free shuttle to the midway el station.....
