yep MD, bearvideo has made HUGE upgrades to the vid's and actually watchable and informative now.. we are the ONLY team to show actual playing of the OTA's and minicamp.. packers jsut do lockeroom interviews and vikes just do links to NFL.com stuff

Agree, the Bears website is fine, I must say, I have not had any problems with Bears site, but Puke's site was not available this morning in UK, they might have been doing maintenance in the middle of the night US time, but this never happens with Bears site.

It must be as suspected, the piss urine yellow and green site is some tin pot written home page written by some deluded packer fans

Packers Cheerleaders

The Green Bay Packers once had official cheerleaders, but after the 1988 season the decision was made not to reinstate them. While some Packers fans supported the official cheerleaders, many were opposed or indifferent, at best.

Helping the Packers make the decision to discontinue the program was a television news poll in which fans were generally split over whether they wanted the program to continue.

Then the Packers' executive vice president of administration, Bob Harlan was quoted in an official release Feb. 7, 1989, saying: "In general terms, the poll disclosed there were as many fans who expressed opposition to the return of the cheerleaders as there were those in favor of restoring them. On that basis, we felt the appropriate decision at this time would be to continue without them."

Harlan says there are no plans to return to official cheerleaders.

For several years, the team has used cheering squads from two local schools, St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis., and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Compared to other stadiums, though, they are not as much a part of the gameday experience at Lambeau Field.

Hasn't that 2nd photo been used about a million times on this board to depict Packer cheerleaders? Google images is your friend - they've got to have a more original image of fat chicks to put on here that hasn't been used so many times.

Auctually I went to lambeau in 07 for the bears game there and about a third of the packers "cheerleaders" were in fact dudes...seriously the were guys, and the women might a well had worn sweatshirts and sweatpants because they were FULLY clothed.
