    1st Bears game!

Friend and I from West Virginia wanting to make weekend football trip.   Have been a bears fan forever, but never able to go to a game.  Going to Notre Dame-Michigan State game on Saturday.  Dont really cheer for either team, but figure a football fan needs to see a game at Notre Dame.  Then wanting to go to Bears-Steelers on Sunday.  If anyone has tickets that would be great, otherwise we are still making the trip, where are the best places to go before and after the game?

Sounds like a great sports / guys weekend!  Last year my neighbor and I did Michigan State @ Michigan on a Saturday......followed by Redskins @ Lions on Sunday (he's originally from West Virginia and a Washington fan).

Unfortunatly, I can't help with tickets (it will easily be the toughest ticket this season!  Cutler's 1st game at Soldier Field, Home Opener, World Champs)

One of the best places to go before the game is our Tailgate Party (see website below).  We haven't updated the site yet, but we are doing the Steeler game for sure.

After the game, your best bet is probably to get to one of the many bars inside the hotels.  The Sunday Night game is NY Giants @ Dallas (first game in their new stadium).

If you don't plan on Tailgating.......you may want to consider Club Tickets.

This would give you somewhere to go before and after the game.  Club Tickets (face value) is much higher than your average ticket.  However, the mark-up isn't always as high (i.e. a $68 endzone ticket may re-sell for $250.  A $245 Club Ticket may re-sell for $300 - - - a better "value")

The Club opens 2 hours before kickoff.  This would give you somewhere to watch the early games &/or you could take advantage of their awesome Buffett (extra charge, reservations may be required?).  The Club also stays open aftter the game is over (and liquor is still served).  This would give you a place to watch the late game (w/out fighting crowds and traffic to get to a bar, hotel or restaurant).

Thanks for the help, we might come to the tailgate, thanks for the invite. And for after the game what are some of the best things to do, or places to go?
