How many DNPs is this guy going to have due to illness this year? I'd put the over/under at four. He seems to be knocked out every time he has a responsibility to fulfill (first camp with Vikings after draft, and now this). This guy is going to be a major bust. Sure he's a playmaker, but you can't make plays if you're out all the time.

I wondered after his first missed OTAs what might be up.  Then Mr. Noodles blows smoke about how great he looks.  Then they're rumored to be kicking Marvin Harrison's tires.  Now he's got a second mystery illness.

Maybe he has a "real" illness.  Maybe he's diabetic and has never been diagnosed.

But I'm a touch more cynical than that.

This is usually the part where that Vikingbacker18 nitwit comes in with a post about Forte getting hit by a car.  Tell me they're not just a little worried in MN right now.

Aww, aren't you cute. You took what I said about Forte seriously didn't you. I guess I'll have to tone down the amount of sarcasm in my posts so the "slower" posters will be able to keep up.

They're not worried. At all. I don't know whats funnier, that you geniuses think weed has any physical withdrawal symptoms, or that this is actually a big deal. It's all just speculation. Its times like this when you know its another boring offseason.

He's not as injury prone as you guys like to think. It's not like he's a DT with glass knees, a MLB with an arthritic back, or an aging  left tackle thats missed 25 starts in the last 3 seasons to injury. Now that would be something to worry about.

Players get excused from the symposium all the time. The only consequence this has is he'll have to attend next year.

---Steve Wyche, reporting for “NFL Total Access” from Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., said Harvin wanted to return to the symposium Tuesday but that doctors gave him medicine and told him to remain at home. Wyche said Harvin is concerned about how people will perceive his absence because of the question marks that surrounded his character entering the NFL draft in April.---

But, please continue speculating; it's very entertaining.

So was he "excused" as you say (and why would a rookie need to be excused from a symposium), or was he "told to stay home" by doctors, as Steve Wyche said.  Since I'm slow maybe you can enlighten me?  Oh, and I know I'm cute but really I'm into girls, so don't waste your time, 'kay?
