Out of area bears game coverage. HELP!

    Hello everybody,

I need help with out of area coverage for Bears games.  I recently moved to central Wisconsin and just bought a new house that I am moving in to during the month of August.  The only way that I know how to get Bears games in my area is on Direct TV NFL Sunday Ticket.  I was wondering if anybody knew of any other way to get the games in my area?  I was looking into Dish Network and Charter cable, but there is nothing on the websites indicating that they would carry out of network football games.  If anybody lives in this area or in another out of Bears area, could you please tell if there is a way to get Bears games besides sunday ticket??  Thanks for the help!  Go BEARS!!

I am in the Air Force stationed in California and I always go to a sports bar that has all of the games.  It is fun to meet Bears fans and share in the frustrations and the bright moments of bears games when you are far from home.  Since you are only in wisconsin, I am sure that it'll be even easier to find bears fans to hang out with.

Seriously...going to a sports bar with sunday ticket to watch games is fun...and except maybe buying a beer or 2 it won't cost anything!

try atdhe.net, usually works. Not the best picture but when games are on NFL network on thursdays we dont get the games where I go to school. Me and my friends just hook up a simple S-video cord to the TV from the computer and it works pretty well.

    Justin.tv works sometimes as well...

Re: Out of area bears game coverage. HELP!

I do like going to bars sometimes and watching games, but this is Wisconsin.... People at the bars are not usually too excited about watching Bears games.

Internet tv is alright, but it really is not what I'm looking for.

I just am frustrated that Dish Network seems to have tons of extra sport channels per area and even additional alternate sport channels, and nothing indicating that you would get additional football games.  I'm also frustrated that cable pretty much sucks butt and I'm probably going to forced to get it anyways because I will get charged more for having internet without cable tv.  If anybody knows a better alternative, please help me out here.

DirecTV has a contract witht the NFL.  They are the only company that can air non-national televised games in non coverage areas.  You won't find anything anywhere else with another cable/satalite company.
