    LADIES NIGHT???

Does anyone know if the Bears still host a class for women where players teach about the rules of football?

I thought they had one a few years back, but my wife really needs to understand the game and stop hounding me while I'm trying to watch!!

    Thanks in advance.

why don't you dvr a game and then go over it with her. That way you have already seen the game, and it won't be a bother.

We knew ... in that huddle ... there was a group ... destined ... to apply the kind of pressure ... that had not been seen before." ...

they now call it NFL 101 - they apparently can't call it NFL for women (some men complained and some parents who wanted to bring kids).......not that i have an issue with either group - it is only listed on the events website as Fall 2009 - no other information yet; historically it's been late October or sometimes early November depending on player commitments...

and its a pretty fun event - get autographs, tour the locker room, see game tape, Jeff joniak and Tom Thayer host - pretty good, but sells out quickly.......i'd keep an eye posted on the Bears website under events for updates.

    hope that helps.

so you are saying that if you didn't get into the sport until your early twenties, then you a just an iamanidiot?   pretty large generalization.    for the record, rusty, i went to some games in my late teens, became a season ticket holder in my late twenties - have now been going to live games for 17 years at both the old soldier field and the new soldier field - and i watch loads of pro and college football - but there are always some things that i am learning.

don't insult some of the girls/women/ladies who trying to learn the sport later in life.     the nfl program is always fun, well attended and yes, there are some pointers that folks pick up.      no one is forcing you to attend, since apparently you know everything about football.
