How to get to the Adler Parking Lot...

Hey Bears fans.  I'm new to the board.  Just asking for a little help.  Coming up with my Old Man for the game this Sunday against the Kittens, and will be coming up Lake Shore Dr. from the South.  We have a parking pass to the Adler Parking Lot.  Plan on doing some tailgating.  Couple of quick questions.

    1. What time is best to get there?  Does a parking pass guarantee a spot in the lot?  Is it first come first serve no matter what?

    2.  What turn do you take off of Lake Shore Dr.?  Is it before or after you pass Soldier Field?  Street name?

Thanks for any help guys.  Really appreciated.  Go Bears!!!!!!!

    1. Lot's open @ 8:00am I usually get there @ 8:15...I avoid the line waiting to get in and still get a prime spot. The parking pass guarantees a spot...you could get there at 11:30 and still have a spot.

    2. 18th street. It is the first exit on your right after you pass McCormick Place. It is before Soldier Field. You'll want to stay in the left lane of the ramp, most people getting off on this ramp are going to be parking in the South Lot or Waldron deck. You will drive around the East side of the field to park in the Adler lot.

I've always wondered is there a better way then driving all the way around the field.

I always see cars driving east on McFetridge and turning north on Campus drive. Where are they coming from and is there a better way to get in coming from the North?

Can you turn left off of SB Columbus onto McFetridge?
Run, run, pass, punt dialing up the same junk, you're still Ron Turner to me.

We always come in from the South. It would make sense that you could get off of Columbus/LSD onto Mc Fetridge coming form the North, but come on...why would we want to do something simple?

Re: How to get to the Adler Parking Lot...

SB LDS runs "under" McFetridge right there but on google earth I'm seeing a left turn lane onto McFetridge from SB Columbus. I think I'll swing by on Saturday and check it out. That would make life a lot easier for us coming from the North.

Not sure if anyone is following this or cares, but if you come from the North you can indeed exit LSD at Roosevelt, turn left on Columbus then take a left onto McFetridge drive. This saves a lot of time for sure.
