    Finally, roughing the passer

Watching the pregame show and the QB penalties came up. They showed the Brady roughing the passer calls and then they showed a very similar (if not worse actually) hit to the head on Jamarcus against the Texans, but no call.

At least ESPN recognizes the inconsistencies of the calls. They also mentioned how Brady called for the flag to be thrown, possibly influencing the call. Rules need to be reviewed.

whatever man who can persuade Giselle to marry him obviously has the Jedi mind power to convince a ref to throw a flag

What's even more telling is you can see the ref start nodding his head in agreement once brady starts whining

Thats what happens when you're an All-Pro, & a Superbowl champion. Compared to Russell, and Flacco, who are youngsters. They're just not going to get the same calls as Manning, and Brady. Pathetic. Blame the refs.

    Les,

Was that Dilfer's rant on these calls? I saw him do a piece last week on this same material and thought it was phenomenal journalism! The dude was getting red in the face over it and was screaming into his mic. He showed a great comparison between the phantom calls in Tom Brady's favor and other non-calls in the league which were far worse hits. I normally don't care for him, but in this case, he was dead on.

No, but I wish I heard that one.

This was Tom Jackson and there was someone else talking about the competition committee and player possibly getting penalized for influencing calls, but I forget who.
