    Rival and Old Bears Forums

Currently there is a lot of TROLLS in both of the subject forums.

My suggestion is this: Stop posting the activity count that goes on in each of those two forums as far as "Most Active" on the home page is concerned. If posters "Trolls" do not see their thread as the most active, they may go away.

I am not saying delete the threads, just don't egg on the popularity of them by having them shown as most active.

It could also reduce the negativity amoung entering the boards home page. If a poster wants to spew garbage that is their right I guess. Lets just not reward them unnecessarily

“He came back with a touchdown, and caught another one when we were going in for the second touchdown. It’s going to happen. I’m going to miss throws. I’m going to throw interceptions. Guys are going to miss blocks. We just have to keep playing fast and get over it as soon as possible.” Jay Cutler

Don't think it's possible. Besides, this is a public board so theres really no sense in "hiding" a thread so to speak. I understand what you mean by not giving "trolls" attention, just don't think it's possible to do that. I will patrol those forums more though, I just don't see any blatant trolling though.

I like the 'active post' block because that usually means there is a heated debate on a subject, or the general population agrees on something. But that depends on time. In the mornings, I generally avoid that block because some of the people on the CBMB like to post news stories, which is fine, but it gets repetitous when the same poster replies to their own threads so many times that it is the only thing you will see.

Here's something you Viking fans can sleep on....in 2007 Green Bay went 13-3 with Farve...guess who two of those losses came from?
