They are now going through his computer, internet usage, and they are speaking with his friends. Lots of crazy rumors going around now mostly unconfirmed. Apparently, he used to blog on radical Islamic websites and talked openly about his radical views. I'm sure we are going to hear more in the next few days.

There is an obvious problem with this guy and his job in general.  He is an army psych, while station at Walter Reed, the main place where wounded GIs come for treatment after being in Iraq or Afgan. He received negative evals.  How can a Muslim sit there an listen to GIs coming back and telling their stories/problems about war issues and hearing about his fellow Muslims being attacked and not be effected.  How can GIs feel comfortable tell him their stories.issues.  We have to wake up in this country that the things that make us all different are real...we are all not the same.  The army fell into the political correctness pot hole for seeing but not reacting to his guy and his behavior.  I know there are muslims in this country and in our forces that would never do anything like this.  but there are ones that would as well.  we need to do a better job of counseling people working in vital areas that have emotional and spiritual connections to our enemies.

You don't know what the hell you're talking about.  You're just parrotting things you've heard.  9/11 was a horrific crime, but I refuse to tie all of the billion plus Muslims in the world with that crime.  What the hell does this individual going on a killing spree have to do with 9/11?  When an Anglo/caucasian person melts down and opens fire on people, you don't give a second thought to his religion, but any time a Muslim does something, obviously it's just BECAUSE he's a Muslim. 

I post on British and European boards, where they have far more Muslims in their population per capita, and far more experience living amongst Msulim people, and they don't generally spout the ignorant bile I see on American boards.

In America, Muslims aren't people.  They don't have meltdowns, they don't have stress, they don't have kids, they don't care for their families, they don't support sports teams,, a small % of them don't snap and commit horrific crimes.  No, Muslims aren't like other people.  They're one thing and one thing only to most Americans - terrorists.  You're so saturated with the crap you get from your cable news networks that you can't focus your mind beyond that.

I am showing a correlation to your views on 9/11 an my views on this waste of a human.  And the fact the major had a break down over his religious beliefs and his being in the military about to be shipped out to a place where we are at war with populations of his religon have everything to do with him being muslim.  did he choose to attack at a park? at a post office...no he attacked soliders that were headed or on the way back from the theater of war..people that were in the position to kill follow muslims.  And I am sick and tired of you europe loving pragmatists tell us americas how to think.

Actually I was watching CNN last night and they didn't even mention he was Muslim. In fact, the only way I found out was that they played the interview that FOX News had with his cousin.

CNN was playing the whole thing up as post traumatic stress syndrome. They had another Muslim Psychiatrist on the show to talk about the PTSS. The Psychiatrist ripped CNN for spinning it that way since he was a highly paid doctor that never went to war. CNN promptly took him off the air and got another Doctor that fit their spin.
