    Best Place To Tailgate?

    Hello,

I am attending the game with couple of freinds this weekend, and while I have gone to a handful of bears games at soldier field I never really tailgated before and we are entertaining the thought of tailgating for this game but never having done it before, just wondering if i could get some insight from the pros and tailgaters on the board. any help is appreciated, thanks guys and go bears!

If $40 for parking is your budget then it looks like the 31st street lot, also known as McCormick Southwest Facilities, is your best bet. It's about a 20 min walk south of the field, but the walk there is great, you're surrounded by Bears fans.
There's a portion of the lot that requires a permit, and I have no idea where you'd get a permit this late in the game. There's also a portion that is $25-$30 cash first come first served, but I wouldn't get there to much after 7, especially because of the nice weather we're supposed to be getting.
    Good luck
