sort of an old article, but found it interesting when BearMick suggested that Europe is free from any sort of things like happened in Ft. Hood recently, so I started looking around to see, as if it is true, I want to know how/what they are doing, so as to get an outside perspective so to speak.  Interesting read though, although somewhat biased, but the fact of the injuries happening can't be twisted I don't think.

See, I was thinking the same thing, and after you mentioned it, I looked around, I think this is what we are thinking of.

But yeah, I think cautious optimism is a good idea.  But I just can't see telling anybody of Muslim faith that they cannot serve this country in the armed forces just because of their beliefs, there are so many that are proud to be here, and take pride in being here, and would take pride in serving this country, it just wouldn't be right, and would set this country back 100 years if not more as far as race goes imo.  Hopefully we(and I say we because its up to us the people) can figure this out, and make something worthwhile out of this without doing further damage.

Muslims follow the old testament try those 5000 years, Now look at the Sabeans and all the other arab tribes and you got 5000 years. Of course, frankly that applies to just about everyone now doesn't it...Either way, Muslims are particularly historically terrible, worse than the Romans in my opinion(let's cite the extermination of nearly the entire Zoroastrian population and the decimation of every other culture they met).

Zoroastrianism is by the way probably the first monotheistic religion in the world and because of the violence of Islam most people think it was the jews... Nearly the entire expanse of persia was Zoroastrian at the time so sad that one of the greatest civilizations would be forgotten so easily.
