oldandgrey:I would love to see the bears go after Julius Peppers of Carolina. He is 30 years old and is in his prime. What other players do people think would help this team? Let me go over Julius Peppers' bio for you: Born in N. Carolina Played high school football in N. Carolina Went to College and played football in N. Carolina Drafted by a ...

  • Re: How do you think Cutler feels about Martz?

Considering that a Martz offense has the ability to turn Cutler into an NFL poster-boy, I'm guessing he's ecstatic. My sources tell me however, that Cutler's right shoulder is unhappy with the situation.

jdub1212:Ok to all the bears fans that think the vikes QB coach is a better canidate for the OC position then Martz. This is so funny do you guys really think he is the best option? i saw one thread earlier stating he help farve with his INT(SMH) this season. ok lets be real for a moment. what did he really teach farve this season? • Re: What would Martz mean to the roster?

Omeletpants:I think he would find effective ways to use Olsen. Turner overused Olsen and it became predictable. When they do throw to Olsen look for him to be very open as the field will be spread. Bottom line: less catches, more yards and TDs. He will need to learn to block A nice thing about a Martz offense is that he'll likely be blocking ...

wiedeman:Can we get away with trading away one of our many SS? Any thoughts about the team? Unfortunately, there's not a guy on our roster that can claim that distinction with a straight face. The moniker free safety is even more hilarious.

Eurobear: ghost of halas:OMG!  An offense not scribbled on a used coffee napkin from the local gas station.  How ever will our special ed offensive players learn? Player X: scratching uncommonly long dreadlocks cause it means you've arrived in life despite dropping your forty time by 2/10ths of a second  ''you mean that ...

  • Re: Mike Martz at head of line for Chicago Bears

Unless the Bears are afraid of success (and I wonder sometimes), Martz is the ONLY viable candidate for this job.  The fact he is available is baffling to me, as he is a Guru of NFL offensive knowledge.   Martz was seriously handicapped with talent in Detroit and San Francisco.  But his work with a bunch of nobody QBs (Warner, ...
