  • Re: Gary Fencik on 670 just said....

nobrain: TheJoker:Bears have a bunch of undersized, inexperienced smurfs at the WR position. Sad but true. Start by benching lead smurf Hester inside the 20, it will do wonders in the red zoneSeeing this year I'd rather bench Forte and Cutler in the redzone and let Hester just take 3 wildcat plays in a row. that is actually not that bad of an ...

  • Re: San Diego Chargers vs. Chicago Bears Quiz

this is all kind of a weak argument...comparing two teams statistically?  just because ron and norv are brothers?  let's just let this season play out - i didn't realize the chargers were really that bad because i don't watch them...but let's also not forget to make the argument of teams 6-3 or better that are actually better ...

dbears54: Hey, Bears, running is passé Lovie's team needs to join the fun, get on the passing bandwagon Comments November 18, 2009 BY MIKE MULLIGAN mmulligan@suntimes.com Leave the power running game on the bus and hand the ball to Jay Cutler. That's the best solution for the Bears with seven games left in a fast-fading season. ...

  • Re: Wednesday, November 18 NEWS

Sackattack: LMOLINARI78: I don't blame Rex's father for sticking up for his son.  But he's got some major blinders on.  The offensive supporting cast was decent in 2006.  They had the best defense in the league.  A decent OL, Berrian and Muhammed were decent WR's and TJ was a good RB.  The weak link turned out to be ...

  • Re: Jerry Angelo's Contract

I'm not sure why a coach would also want to be a GM.  I can understand they want their pick of the players - which they should have - but to handle the money, the negotiating, etc....seems like they would want to give that up considering how much time they spend on actual coaching.  i woudlnt' give the GM job to a coach either...

  • Re: Mortenson on Mike on Mike this morning - Lovie could be fired

justanotherbearsfan99: Dennis: By taking personal control of the Defense and working them back up into a Top Ten Defense, Lovie has saved his own job.  He's not going anywhere until after his contract is up. Turner however, is a different story.  After years of playing the ''I just don't have talented personnel'' card, he's finally ...

  • Re: Is this weeks game a "must win" game?ons.

haverhillharry:There are no more must win games. The Bears are out of it, ZERO chance of making the playoffs. The best they could hope for would be to come close but there is no way they could make the playoffs.   I agree.  All of thse 'must wins' games mean nothing anyway - even if we go 5-2 and somehow miraculously make the playoffs ...

  • Re: Wednesday, November 18 NEWS

nj-bear:if we would have kept running the ball, we would have kept the colts offense off the field. we coudlnt' stop them when they did have the ball.  it wasnt' a case where our D kept getting 3 and outs and our offense wasn't keeping up the bargain...Our d got pushed around - they did what they wanted to.  if they had to go deep - ...

  • Re: Does anybody Benglas remind of 'old bears'?

Except for the bengals identity is still carson palmer...they go as he goes. right now everything seems to be gelling for them...run game looks strong no matter who is running the ball, the D is solid - and just enough passing to get by. But, if palmer goes down, you'll see how dismal their offense will be - a-la last year...

windy_city_warrior71:he will be suspended by the bears and the nfl they should treat this guy like the chiefs did with LJ release or try and bait a trade maybe get a 5th rd pick at besti think that's exactly what they will do.  after the end of the season they'll probably offer him up for a 4th rounder or something.  he'll still have ...
